This model is not meant to be the scale model of any particular Mill Engine, rather it is
intended to demonstrate the principles of the Mill Engine as well as being an attractive working display model.
A feature of the model is that it operates at very low pressure (less than
1 lb /sq. in.).
This means that the model can be made to operate by attaching the tube provided to the steam inlet and blowing.
The engine is also designed to be operated by means of the built in electric motor and, of course, from a simple
steam plant (not provided).
The kit is designed so that only minimal tools are required. No previous model engineering experience is necessary
and assembly should be easily within the scope of the average person familiar with the use of normal tools.
A comprehensive set of instructions is supplied with the kit.
